TF Cornerstone (TFC) has launched leasing for its 209 market
rate apartments at 5241 Center Blvd, the shorter of two new towers at the 1,194-unit
second phase of Hunter’s Point South in the Long Island City waterfront.
5241 Center Blvd features 394 apartments. Leasing for the
185 affordable units in the tower began last fall.
The sibling North tower, located at 5203 Center Boulevard,
is expected to commence for its 534 affordable and 266 market rate units in the
The two properties will share amenities which include a multitude of terrace, roof, BBQ and sun decks, clubrooms, fitness centers, yoga studios, a lounge, children’s playroom, laundry facilities, bicycle storage, and TFC’s co-working space, HomeWork. They are anchored by a new half-acre park designed by Matthews Nielsen Landscape Architects.

5241 Center Blvd and 5203 Center Blvd were designed by ODA along
with SLCE as the architect of record.
Hunter’s Point South Park is part of the Hunter’s Point
South master planned mixed-use development and provides public access to the
Queens coastline. The 11-acre park stretches along the East River south of
Gantry Plaza State Park and sits right outside 5241 Center Blvd and 5203 Center
