The Janus Property Company has closed a lease with the non-profit Graham Windham organization at the Sweets Building at 423 West 127th Street in the Manhattanville Factory District in West Harlem.
The lease is a full-floor renewal for Graham Windham’s current 5,200 s/f space.
Founded in 1806, Graham Windham delivers programs for New York City’s children, families and communities. With an annual operating budget of more than $50 million, the organization provides youth and family programs at 11 community-based sites in Harlem, Brooklyn and the Bronx. The organization employs approximately 450 staff and is supported by more than 1,500 volunteers and donors.

factory where Dentyne chewing gum was developed, the Sweets Building is now a
modern, five-story commercial office building that retains the distinctive
industrial architecture of the West Harlem neighborhood. The Sweets Building is
among the first completed commercial buildings in the Manhattanville Factory
The Manhattanville Factory District is a 1.5 million-square-foot, multi-phase, master-planned campus that includes extensive private and publicly-accessible outdoor space. It spans east from Amsterdam Avenue from West 125th to West 128th Streets. In addition to the Sweets Building, the District includes 460 West 126th Street, 1351 Amsterdam Avenue, the re-built Mink Building and the newly-constructed 200,000 rentable square-foot Malt House and 350,000 rentable square-foot Taystee Lab Building.
