William Blair has completed an extension and expansion for 80,000 s/f, while Ryan Specialty Group has signed for 40,000 square feet.

William Blair, a global investment banking, investment management, and private wealth management company, extended its lease for 40,240 s/f on the full 20th floor of the building and expanded to an additional 40,240 s/f of space on the full 19th Floor. Ryan Specialty Group, an international specialty insurance organization, is relocating from 1345 Avenue of the Americas to 40,240 s/f of space on the entire 18th floor of 1166 Avenue of the Americas.
Minskoff recently completed a 12,000 s/f, multi-purpose conference center on the 12th floor of the building. This follows a redesign by Gensler of the building’s lobby, lighting, outdoor canopies and security features. The recently completed lobby showcases signature works of art, including tapestries by Roy Lichtenstein, sculptures by KAWS and Tom Otterness, paintings by Yayoi Kusama and Harmony Korine, and a monument model by Claes Oldenburg and Coosje van Bruggen. The lobby renovation recently received the Landlord Architectural Achievement award from the Avenue of the Americas Association. Minskoff also has enhanced the office property’s telecommunications infrastructure to be listed as Wired Certified Gold with WiredScore.
