Cushman & Wakefield has arranged a 10-year, 32,000 s/f lease for Apprentice.io’s new office headquarters at Mack-Cali’s 101 Hudson Street.

The company, which is a market leader in intelligent life science manufacturing technology that propelled manufacturing to deliver the COVID-19 vaccine at warp speed, will occupy the 38th floor of the property.

Cushman & Wakefield’s David DeMatteis and Mina Shehata, in conjunction with Jeff Kaplowitz of Liberty Realty, represented the tenant.

“Working on such a relevant project like this during the pandemic was extremely rewarding,” said DeMatteis. “The team at Apprentice is rapidly growing and this inspiring workplace will provide a home for the next chapter of their growth. This is a home-grown Jersey City company that could have easily moved across the river. Their commitment to their roots in a time of such rapid growth is wonderful to see.”

The company will occupy space on the 38th floor

“We are grateful for our partnership with Cushman & Wakefield and Liberty Reality and are thrilled to move our rapidly growing team into Apprentice’s new home in Jersey City,” shared Angelo Stracquantanio, CEO and co-founder. “We truly believe in the potential of Jersey City and know it’s a great base to both serve our customers, the leading Life Science companies, and bring together our diverse team of local and remote employees. The space is designed to meet our needs as we continue to achieve our ambitious goals for growth.”

Apprentice delivers the only intelligent software platform built specifically for life science teams to increase speed to market, improve yield per batch and reduce deviations. The company plans to move to its new headquarters June 1.

Apprentice’s decision to forge its growth in Jersey City will further solidify the transformation of the Hudson Waterfront as its tenant base continues to evolve from financial back office to technology, life science and apparel.

“As a client of mine since the company’s inception in 2018, Apprentice grew from a small start-up operation into a corporate leader that is not just producing great software, but software that is lifesaving and has a positive worldwide impact,” said Jeff Kaplowitz of Liberty Realty. “This transaction is special for me because Apprentice has its roots in Jersey City and has laid the foundation of what the business community will look like in the future – a center of life sciences, robotics, artificial intelligence and virtual and augmented reality.”
