Adams & Co. Signs New Lease Totaling in 48,881 Square Feet of Space at 34 West 33rd Street

 Manhattan’s forward-thinking, full-service real estate firm, Adams & Co. (Adams), has recently announced that Bentex Group, a family of affiliated companies engaged in the design, production, and sales of apparel, home décor, electronic products and pet products worldwide, has signed a 48,881-square-foot lease at 34 West 33rd Street taking the entire second and eleventh floors as well as part of the twelfth floor. This new lease serves as an expansion to Bentex Group’s presence in the building totaling in 60,964 square feet.

“Within the last year, we’ve seen a tremendous amount of leasing activity from the apparel and textile industries especially within the children’s wear apparel sector,” said David Levy, Principal of Adams & Co. “Bentex’s expansion in the building marks a continuing demand for office and showroom space that fulfill this industry’s growing needs.” 

Levy and Brett Maslin of Adams & Co. represented the landlord, Arcade Building Associates and Michael Beyda of Benchmark Properties represented the tenant in the transaction. Asking rent was approximately $50 per square-foot. 

Located on 33rd Street between 5th and 6th Avenues, 34 West 33rd Street is a 12-story building built in 1908. It features 24/7 security, a new elevators, windows, and hallways. 34 West 33rd Street is conveniently placed near many subway lines including the 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, B, D, F, M, N, Q, and R trains, PATH and Penn Station.
